Series 2000 & 2500 (KM)
Series 2000 and Series 2500 Transom Mount
The Series 2000 Transom Mount provides a simple low overall cost means of automating existing or new doors. The electrohydraulic power operator along with the operating controls are mounted on a single header plate that simply bolts to the door frame. The entire unit is enclosed within a steel housing. The operating arm is attached to the door for simple installation. Most doors, either new or existing, can be automated with a minimum of preparation.

The Series 2500 incorporates all of the basic features of Series 2000 and includes a power open/power close feature.

The power open/close feature is desirable in environments subject to high winds or high internal building pressures. Heavy doors or door with high inertia are also best automated with the power assist close feature.

Series 7000 (KM)
Series 7000 Surface-Applied Sliding Entrances

KM Systems offers Series 7000 Sliding Entrances for surface application to existing buildings. Since it is mounted on the exterior wall, the emergency breakaway feature permits opening the doors at any point in the door's travel.

These packages are available in single or bi-parting configurations with or without sidelights or side jambs. Close-out tubes to seal the entrance from the weather and to prevent energy losses are also available. The close-out tubes can also house safety-hold beams. These units can be supplied with any of K/M's available bottom guide systems, surface mounted roller guide, guide pin or recessed guide pin. However, the surface applied bottom roller guide is most commonly used.

K/M's Surface Mounted Series 7000 Entrance Package offers the opportunity to convert older manual swinging entrances to provide the convenience, improved traffic flow and appearance possible only with automated sliding doors.

KM Systems, Inc. Series 7000 Entrance Packages include the electro-mechanical operator, controls, sliding leaf(s), slidelight leaf(s), side jamb(s), emergency breakaway devices, and all related hardware. The operator features motor driven power?gear belt drive with solid state controls. The operator, controls, door rollers and track are contained in a continuous header 6 1/2 inches wide by 6 inches high.

Series 2000 Operator Fire Door Packages
KM Systems, Inc. Series 2000 Automatic Door Operators are listed and labeled by U.L. for application on all U.L. Fire Doors l.E. "A", "B", "C", "D" and "E". K/M Operator and Solenoid latches are surface applied so exiting fire doors can be automated without affecting the door's U.L. Iabel.

Fire door packages can be automated with Von Duprin Mechanical Exit Device(s) or any brand of electrified exit devices. On doors with U.L. Vertical Rod Exit Devices, the device must have its upper latch mechanism held retracted during opening and closing and have the latch mechanism released by means of a Release Button striking a Bumper Finger at full close.
